First thing I thought was – “Man, I haven’t seen one of these in a long time.”
My second thought was – “I wonder what all the things were that this rubber band used to be wrapped around.”
My third thought was – “I wonder if many of those things are still around.”
When the announcements came out earlier in the year that various newspapers were going to ‘online only’ mode, did rubberband manufacturers cringe? What are we going to do with all of these rubberbands now that they have fewer newspapers to hold together?
